AMC#1 | Demolition begins

Yesterday we started demolition on our Southlake project. We framed and drywalled the old door openings to the main house to isolate the construction area in the back part of the house. That way our clients don’t have to deal with the construction traffic and dust until we are ready to close the back part up again (when the new windows go in). We have built a temporary ramp to allow our subcontractors easy access to the construction area. The next step will be to demo the old electrical and plumbing lines as well as the interior walls you see on the right. Some of the subflooring shows some water damage, so we will demo those areas so we can inspect the floor framing underneath it. The water damage seems to be more extensive than expected.
